A Roundup of December’s Festivities

Copywriting agency

With just a few working days left in the calendar year, excitement is building about the Christmas break. The festive period is a great time to take stock of your progress this year, and to plan your content strategy for 2016. However, let’s be honest – it’s also a time to eat, drink and be merry – all of which we’ve been doing in abundance so far this month!

Let us give you a quick update on the latest news from our copywriting agency, including a very exciting Christmas competition!

Getting to Know Network Freelance

We’ve connected with some amazing businesses over the last few months, but it’s always a privilege to meet the individuals behind them. One such organisation is Network Freelance, one of the sponsors from the IPSE Awards.

Chris Williams, the company’s Managing Director, kindly invited our founder Kelly and several other guests along for a meal at Meriden Hall last week, where we had a chance to learn about the inspiration behind Network Freelance, and some of the outstanding people it works with.

Having recently launched its freelance job board, this organisation is one to watch for the self-employed community in 2016.

Education and Training for Freelancers

Speaking of IPSE, you may remember that we were invited to join the Education and Training Steering Committee last month. On Friday, we met up with Lydia Wakefield, who is already leading some superb initiatives to support both current and aspiring freelancers.

As the committee establishes its direction, we can already see huge potential to make an impact in schools, universities and beyond. Keep an eye out for some exciting developments over the next 12 months.

WIN A Free Month of Blogging

Christmas is a time for sharing, and to show gratitude for the support and encouragement we’ve had this year, we wanted to give something back. That’s why we’re running a fantastic competition to win a month’s free blogging.

The lucky winner will receive four tailored blog posts and a free 30 minute consultation, to start their blog on the right path for 2016. You have until midnight on the 20th of December to enter, so don’t miss out on the chance to win!

A Very Merry Christmas to All

As the year comes to a close, we’d like to take a moment to thank everyone we’ve met, worked and interacted with over 2016. It’s been a truly incredible year for our content agency, and we hope you’ve got just as much to celebrate over Christmas. We’ll be taking a short break from the 23rd of December to the 4th of January, so until then have a wonderful Christmas and a very happy New Year.

Planning your content strategy for the year ahead? Or simply want to get to know our copywriters better? We’d love to hear from you over the next few weeks – get in touch to have a chat with Kelly.
